Playa Del Rey Real Estate

Playa del Rey is a secluded beachtown located a few miles north of Los Angeles International Airport. In Spanish, Playa del Rey is known as the Beach of the King. In fact, in the 1920s this oceanside hideaway was considered a haven for surfers and the wealthy. Playa del Rey is located south of Marina del Rey with Ballona Creek running between the two communities. Residences in Playa del Rey have breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean. However, recent development of new housing units and office complexes in the last few years have contributed to the welcome growth of the community. Current residents and business owners are expanding and remodeling their homes.
