Real Estate with a Global Perspective

Josie Tong

Josie Tong, CIPS

Josie Tong feels right at home on the Westside of Los Angeles, known for its vibrant, upscale communities with a neighborhood feel and an international flair.  She represents local and international buyers and sellers who seek a mild coastal climate, stunning Pacific views, friendly atmosphere, and beautiful homes.  Josie is a multi-lingual Realtor who has traveled the globe and understands the importance of having an agent who can keep the relocation process simple and smooth from start to finish.

The business side of buying or selling a home is a process that requires an expert. With over 20 years of consulting, sales and management experience for multi-national companies in both the domestic and international markets, Josie easily navigates the Real Estate market with her strong credentials.

An MBA, Josie has been awarded the prestigious Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation from the National Association of Realtors, joining a select and distinguished society of over 1400 real estate professionals throughout the world. The CIPS designation recognizes members who have achieved the necessary training and experience to work successfully with international clients and properties.   Josie is a member of the National, California, and Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Associations of Realtors.

Josie’s trademark is her warm and personable style. She is honest, creative, detailed and solution-oriented. Most importantly, she always listens and has the best interests of her clients in mind.  Consider some of the recent testimonies on her behalf: A relocating executive thanked her for the hard work that went far beyond what he ever expected while looking for a new home. The seller of a $12M estate applauded her conscientiousness and noted that she “did things with class.”

Because Josie has personally relocated both within the United States and abroad, she can relate to the challenges that her clients face. She has developed an extensive network of support professionals - including inspectors, architects, contractors, designers, mortgage bankers, attorneys, and financial advisors - to help her clients with the selling and buying of their homes.

Josie is a Pacific Palisades resident who enjoys travel, books, arts, and architecture. She is a Trustee at the Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena and Past President of the the Newcomers and Friends of Pacific Palisades (about 150 members) and the Alumni Association of Taipei First Girls' High School - Southern California (about 700 members).
